Andrey Yakunin has become Partner of WE Partners and head the consulting office of WE Partners in Kazakhstan in January 2017.

Prior to joining WE Partners Andrey was a Managing partner of a consulting company with the focus on strategy, marketing and risk management. Andrey possesses more than twenty years of successful experience in strategic sales and personnel management. He also has extensive operational expertise throughout Central Asia and the Caucasus, specifically in Pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors.   

Andrey has served in management roles for regional and multi-national companies including the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna, GSK, Teva and Merck.  

Andrey Yakunin graduated from Kokshetau Institute of Economics and Management with Bachelor’s degree in Management and Economy and The Open University (UK) with Professional Diploma in Management in 2006.

Olga Kupriyanova

Olga Kupriyanova, Partner of Executive Search and Leadership and Talent Consulting Practices, joined WE Partners Kazakhstan in October 2014.  

Ms. Kupriyanova has more than 15 years of extensive background in recruitment and human resources, training and development, talent management. For about 10 years Olga has worked at managerial level positions with major oil & gas companies in Kazakhstan, including Tengizchevroil and North Caspian Operating Company. Olga has a successful track record of implemented projects in the area of HR processes optimization and department restructuring, new programs and initiatives related to assessment, training and development, performance management, succession planning, high-potential development.     

For the last 3 years Olga has worked in consulting helping clients to form, assess and develop effective executive teams. Olga has delivered a number of searches in Kazakhstan and Caucasus for a range of clients with major focus across Industrial, Manufacturing as well as Banking and Telecom sectors.

Olga has graduated from Foreign Languages Department of Kostanay State University. Olga holds an MSc in International Human Resource Management from Cranfield University and an MBA from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research. Ms. Kupriyanova has a number of professional certifications (e.g. Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Decision Styles, Korn Ferry viaEDGE).
